A Contemporary Home in Encino Hills
Ivyside Residence
This 4,400 square foot new construction home in the San Fernando Valley was custom built for a direct client. The homeowners had a set of construction plans from an architect, but many of the design elements and details were imagined and executed by Abe Grossman and designer Michelle Townley of Interior Motives, including the showpiece of the house - the interior floating staircase.
The Grossman Construction team self performed the majority of the work on this project, allowing for greater control of a high quality result, from the foundation to framing, and much of the finish work such as cabinets, flooring, tile, and stucco.
The house features an incredible outdoor kitchen that overlooks the views from the backyard. A custom designed and built shade structure - designed by Abe Grossman - is the focal point, with a modern barbecue and cast-in-place concrete counter underneath.
