An Architectural Home in Mar Vista
Greenwood Residence
The Greenwood Residence was built in 2006 and remains a highly sought after architectural home today, almost two decades later. Envisioned by architect Tom Marble, the home features over 3,000 square feet of iconic modernist design tucked away on a quiet 6,000 square foot lot on the westside of Los Angeles.
Evocative of the architect’s signature style, the home features 24-foot ceilings and a natural palette of polished concrete and wood. Abe Grossman and his team led the design on much of the interior details, including custom Zebra Wood cabinetry and designer paints. Dark wood ceilings provide a natural richness throughout the home, and complement the raw steel elements seen on the floating staircase.
Large wood clad glazing elements are implemented throughout, framing views of Los Angeles from the hillside property. Multiple terrace decks and ground floor patios were designed to embrace an indoor-outdoor lifestyle.
